1. What Shelfward is

Shelfward is a Shopify app for purchasing, receiving and counting stock. You keep supplier records, raise purchase orders, email them as a PDF, receive deliveries with freight and duty spread across the lines, print labels, and run scoped stocktakes.

When you receive a delivery, Shelfward adds the received quantities to one Shopify location and sets the cost per item, by weighted average or by last landed cost, as your settings say. When you apply a count, it sets the counted on-hand quantities for the items in your scope.

Shelfward purchase orders are its own records. They are separate from Shopify's built-in purchase orders, because an app cannot write to those.

Shelfward is not affiliated with Shopify, and Shopify has not approved or endorsed it.

2. Who charges you

• WaveApp LLC makes Shelfward and licenses it to you.
• Your subscription runs on Shopify App Pricing. You choose a plan on Shopify's own page, and the charge is added to your Shopify invoice.
• Shelfward creates no charge in code and never sees your card.
• Refunds are covered on the refund page.

3. Your licence

You may use Shelfward on the Shopify stores you control, to run your own purchasing and stock counts. You must not resell it, copy it, reverse-engineer it, or use it to break the law. You must be able to enter a binding agreement where you live.

4. Paying

• Core is $29.00 per month: suppliers, purchase orders with email and PDF, receiving with cost write-back, labels, reorder drafts and one location.
• Plus is $59.00 per month and adds scoped stocktakes, more than one location, and cost history export.
• Each plan on Shopify's plan page starts with a 14-day free trial, which rolls into the first charge. That trial is the only one: Shelfward runs no trial of its own.
• Billing is monthly, at one flat price per plan. We never charge by how many orders your store takes, and we count no SKUs; the plans differ in what they unlock, including how many locations you can receive and count at.
• Change or cancel your plan on Shopify's plan page. Cancelling ends the subscription at the end of the current billing period, not at the end of the calendar month; Shopify's own plan page names the exact expiry date, and your Shelfward data stays.
• If you remove Shelfward and install it again while a subscription is still running, Shopify keeps that subscription and its expiry date, and no new trial starts.
• The price on Shopify's plan page, in your billing currency, is the one that counts.

Whenever there is no active Shelfward subscription on your store — before you choose a plan, after a trial ends with no plan chosen, or when a subscription stops for any other reason — your Shelfward data stays readable and exportable, the export then includes your cost history whichever plan you had, and the app stops writing. There is no grace period. Choosing a plan again restores the writing features.

5. Your work and ours

• Your supplier records, purchase orders, receipts, cost history and counts are yours. We hold them to run the app for you, and the privacy notice says how.
• The app and its interface are ours.
• You are responsible for what you order, what you record as received, and what you apply from a count.
• Quantities and cost per item that Shelfward has written to your Shopify store are your store's data. Removing the app leaves them as they are.

6. What we do not promise

Shelfward writes to Shopify through Shopify's inventory API. Quantity changes carry an idempotency key and cost per item is set to an absolute value, so a retried receipt or count is applied once. We do not promise that the service is always available, that a delivery reconciles to a supplier invoice, or that Shopify's own inventory-value report matches a figure you read here. Shelfward sets cost per item; Shopify's reports are Shopify's.

Labels print through your browser as a PDF sheet. A direct printer integration depends on software you install on your own machine.

7. Changes and ending

We will change features and prices across releases, and we will tell you in the app before a material change takes effect. You can remove Shelfward at any time; it deletes your data as the privacy notice describes, and it changes nothing in your storefront.

8. Warranty

Shelfward is provided as is. Where the law gives you a warranty we cannot exclude, that warranty stands.

9. Liability

To the extent the law allows, WaveApp LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for lost profit, lost stock or lost data. Our total liability for anything connected to Shelfward is limited to what you paid for it in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not let us limit.

10. Law and disputes

These terms follow the law of the State of Wyoming, United States. If you are a consumer, the mandatory protections and courts of the place where you live still apply. Write to support@shelfward.app first; most problems are settled by email.
